“EduGaming”
Long Term Training Programme for Designing Educational Games
Serbia-Romania (spring-autumn 2017)

As a core consortium of experienced partners in using games as an educational tool from Serbia and Romania we want to propose a long term capacity building project to your organization- to raise your capacity of your organization to design and use educational games with your target groups. It will be addressed to your youth workers, facilitators, trainers, coordinators, that are interested in social and global issues and believe games are an efficient tool to increase the awareness, information and education level among young people

The project will tackle topics like: social exclusion, intercultural dialogue, social and global justice, climate change, sustainable lifestyle, and other global challenges –based on the profile of the partners and participants; educational game designing (approaching the social themes explained before) and steps in the process; developing, designing, testing, implementing, evaluating specific education games that could be applied in youth projects, communities or non-formal education settings. The follow-up of the project will include the dissemination of the final version of the games to all interested youth organizations.

This project is designed as following:
- First residential training: participants will explore deeper different thematic, the steps required for developing successful educational games (that could be used in youth projects, communities or training/workshops) and will develop concrete games in international or national teams which will be implemented, tested and evaluated. (spring 2017)

- 1 practice phase, the participants will have to test in their communities the educational game they designed in the training. The will finalize all the necessary materials, make the necessary translation and test it with the target group for which it was designed (for minimum target) (spring-autumn 2017)

- Second residential training for evaluating the practice phase and for developing advanced competencies as “edu-gamers” based on the needs detected in the practice phase (autumn 2017)

We will want to have 2-3 people per organization involved fully (in all stages of the project) and same financing rules applied as usual in Erasmus+ for the residential training courses:
- 100% accommodation and food cost,
- 100% of travel cost is covered by the project under certain limits depending of your location
- We envision having up to 80% contribution for the cost engaged in the practice phase!
Please announce me as soon as possible if you are interested in the project!
