Eco-Discoveries in Rural Areas with Youth – Participants from Türkiye

As Yenilikçi Eğitim ve Girişim Derneği (YEGİD), we are proud to be a partner in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project “Eco-Discoveries in Rural Areas with Youth (Y-RURALITY)”, and we are now selecting 8 participants from Türkiye to join our national team.

This project will bring together young people from different countries to explore rural life, sustainability, environmental responsibility, and active citizenship through a dynamic programme based on non-formal learning. As participants, you will take part in workshops, field visits, intercultural exchanges, and collaborative activities designed to create real impact and meaningful learning experiences.

Location: Romania
Dates: 05 – 12 July 2026
Participants: 17–30 years old
Team Türkiye: 8 participants

Financial Conditions:
Within the Erasmus+ framework, accommodation, food, and all activity-related costs will be fully covered. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to programme rules and limits.

Green Travel Requirement:
As part of our project values and environmental responsibility, travel will be organized through green travel options (bus/train). Applicants must be willing to travel using these methods.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for young people who:

Are interested in sustainability, rural development, and environmental topics
Are motivated to actively participate and contribute to the group
Are open to intercultural learning and teamwork
Are willing to share and disseminate their experience after the project

Priority may be given to young people with fewer opportunities.
