Echoes of Deception: Unveiling the Truth Behind Misinformation

"Echoes of Deception" is an EU Youth Exchange project that focuses on raising awareness about disinformation and misinformation, particularly in the digital age. The project gathers young participants from various countries to explore the dynamics of false information, especially in media and online platforms. Through practical workshops, participants will learn how to critically analyze information, develop media literacy skills, and protect themselves from disinformation.

One of the key focuses of the project is understanding how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be used to manipulate information, such as creating fake audio and video content. Participants will engage in activities that demonstrate how AI can be used to mimic voices and faces, and discuss the societal risks posed by these technologies.

Workshops will also cover how to differentiate between disinformation and misinformation, how to identify trustworthy sources, and the importance of cross-checking facts. By the end of the project, participants will have gained valuable skills in critical thinking, media literacy, and ethical use of digital platforms.

The project aims not only to equip young people with the tools to combat digital disinformation but also to promote social responsibility by encouraging them to share their knowledge within their communities.
