Our project focuses on comparing different applications of civil law, bringing together students and young professionals in law and related fields.
Our project, Compare the Law: A New Perspective to the Civil Law Tradition, brings together law students, young lawyers, and professionals from related fields to explore and compare the applications of civil law across different countries. Through workshops, institutional visits, and discussions, participants will gain insights into the workings of legal systems, such as constitutional, administrative, and private law, while examining the lawmaking process and its societal impacts.
The project also focuses on the practical aspects of law, such as the professional legal environment and the role of key institutions like supreme courts and the European Court of Human Rights. By analyzing landmark cases and legal developments across countries, participants will enhance their understanding of comparative law, legal history, and international cooperation in the legal field.
Our goal is to foster a broader legal mindset, equipping participants with the tools to analyze legal issues from a global perspective, free from the constraints of their national systems. Through comparative law methods, we aim to inspire young legal professionals to create innovative solutions to modern legal challenges, improve legal unity in Europe, and advocate for justice and strong institutions in their own countries
