Themes of the week
Youth work programs – designing sustainable activities and social responsibility
Challenges and solutions in integrating sustainability into youth work
Introduction to various non-formal methods
Introduction to material logistics - building materials, tools, structural aspects, pulleys for transporting the tree trunks
Extensive training on participant safety during construction (use of personal safety equipment - PPE, handling rope and safety,construction of safety systems on the tree house)
Council rounds morning and evening to see how everyone is feeling
Training in special construction of experiential tree house construction (rope fastening)
Small group work: learning and implementing different parts of the tree house (stairs, bridges, roofs
Management and support of the group process: experiential education methods to promote group cohesion, reflection,intervention
Logistics of life in the tree houses: drinking water, industrial water, wastewater, toilet, kitchen, sleeping places
Workshops on preparing healthy and sustainable meals in an outdoor context and over an open fire
Introduction to sustainable nutrition and strength orientation
Health aspects of sustainable nutritionLectures by nutrition experts on the connections between nutrition and health
