The project explores elements of Black Youth Culture in Europe and creates a space to explore own Afro-European identities and build cross-border communities.

"BLACK - A journey into Black and Afro-European Youth Cultures" focuses on key cultural dimensions of Black Youth communities in Europe and aims to exchange on and explore elements of Black and Afro-European youth cultures across Europe, which may include aspects of history, geography, dance, music, fashion, and food, among others.
It aims to create a dedicated space for participants to
explore their own Afro-European identities,
understand key historical and contemporary
reference points, and build cross-border
community networks.
Goals and objectives of the Project:
• Community & Connection: Bring together
30 young people of African descent in Europe
to foster deep community.
• Identity & History: Explore Afro-European
identity and learn history from the perspective
of Black people.
• Cultural Knowledge: Share & explore music,
dance, languages, traditional foods, and key
reference figures/movements in Europe.
• Addressing Challenges: Discuss current
issues like racism/discrimination and identity
conflicts while developing creative tools for
mutual empowerment.
• Local Engagement: Design & facilitate
workshops on Black culture for local youth in
the host community.
