BeMore – Education Through Art

The BeMore project aims to create, test and disseminate a model for the development of social and personal skills based on education through art. In this project, we approach education through art as a non-formal education methodology.

This methodology will be implemented in different European youth centres as a place to exchange ideas and experiences amongst young people from Europe.

The project will have four phases:
1 – Transnational meeting to define the youth workers’ training plan
2 – Training of the youth workers
3 – Development of artistic and cultural activities (Theatre, Dance, Music, Painting, Photography and Cinema)
4 – Evaluation and dissemination of project results

In the first phase, there will be a transnational meeting for the development of the training framework.

In the second phase, the training of the youth workers who will develop and monitor the activities with young participants will be implemented. The main purpose of these non-formal education sessions will be to provide the youth workers with skills and tools that will allow them to work with young people from Europe.

In the third phase, this project will promote artistic and cultural activities in the different Youth Centres of the partnership. In this phase, young people aged between 14 and 18 will be able to share experiences and different artistic practices and develop their social and personal skills in an intercultural context. The activities will take place in the different partner countries, thereby enabling the mobility of young people.

Finally, the fourth phase of the project will be dedicated to the evaluation, dissemination and exploitation of project results through an event that will serve as a platform for the presentation and promotion of the intellectual outputs created and designed during the previous phases of the project.

We are currently looking for municipality partners, preferentially municipalities with Youth Centres.
