Babies for Europe

This is not typical youth exchange project about intercultural dialogue, entrepreneurship or active citizenship. It's a project about YOU, about your life. Project which aims to encourage you - very simple - to have some BABIES :)

Whole Europe is suffering from demographical crisis. Society is aging which results in further problems in social system. Solution is simple - it's YOU.
Nowadays popular lifestyle "young, wild and free" until you fit into "young" age gap (until 30 or even 35) demonstrates the priorities of entertainment towards creating a family. This results in marrying later, settling your life later and having babies later. Aging society causes social system issues as well as will further cause issues in labor market.
Starting having babies after 30 years results in higher health risks for women and overall fewer babies in household (1 child in family seems enough). Women become more educated, career and money in life path goes with higher priority which results in having less children and later.

Objectives:
O1: To raise awareness about social consequences of decreasing fertility rate and worsening demographical situation for 35 young participants and their local communities by the end of the project.
O2: To introduce additional risk factors for women having children only over 30 and negative effects for our society.
O3: To encourage 35 young participants and their local communities to think about their close future more responsibly and include "family" factor with higher priority into their life path.

Each partner will select 7 young participants (plus 1 group leader) aged 18 – 26 years (no age limit for group leader). At least 2 young participants will be facing fewer opportunities (economic, social, geographical obstacles or other).

Exchange will be prepared, implemented, disseminated and the programme of exchange will be facilitated together with young participants, so please keep in mind that full involvement of participants will be expected.

Dates of the project: 12th - 19th of June, 2020.
Project will take place in Kaunas, Lithuania
