KA153 project empowering youth workers with AI, STEM, digital tools and non-formal learning to develop future skills, inclusion and employability.

AI & STEM for Future Youth Work: Empowering Youth Workers through Innovation

Payas District Directorate of National Education, located in Hatay, Türkiye, is looking for reliable European partners to develop a KA153 Mobility of Youth Workers project focused on preparing youth workers for the challenges and opportunities of the digital age.

Our organisation coordinates 32 educational institutions, including a Vocational Training Centre (MESEM), vocational and technical high schools, and works in close cooperation with the PayaSTEM AI & STEM Centre. Through these facilities, we aim to connect formal education, non-formal learning and vocational education while strengthening young people's future skills and active participation.

The project will bring together youth workers, teachers, trainers, NGO staff, youth leaders and professionals working with young people from different European countries to exchange good practices, develop innovative learning methods and strengthen international cooperation.

The international training course will take place in Payas, Hatay (Türkiye) and will combine interactive workshops, practical activities, peer learning, study visits and non-formal education methods.

The programme is expected to include training sessions on:

Artificial Intelligence for Youth Work
Digital Youth Work and Digital Citizenship
STEM and Robotics in Non-formal Education
Gamification and Interactive Learning
Design Thinking and Creative Problem Solving
Entrepreneurship and Employability Skills
Green Skills and Sustainable Development
Social Inclusion and Youth Participation
Mental Wellbeing and Resilience
Digital Storytelling, Communication and Dissemination

Participants will also visit our Vocational Training Centre (MESEM) to explore Türkiye's vocational education model, practical training workshops and cooperation with local industry. In addition, the PayaSTEM AI & STEM Centre will host hands-on workshops where participants will experience innovative practices in artificial intelligence, robotics, coding and project-based learning.

The project aims not only to improve the competences of youth workers but also to create practical educational resources that can be transferred to local communities across Europe.

Expected project results include:

An AI & STEM Toolkit for Youth Workers
Practical training modules and workshop materials
Digital learning resources and short educational videos
Local dissemination and multiplier events
Pilot activities implemented by partner organisations
Youthpass-based reflection and competence recognition

We are looking for motivated organisations with experience or interest in youth work, Erasmus+, digital education, inclusion, employability, entrepreneurship, STEM, sustainability and non-formal learning. We especially welcome organisations willing to actively contribute to the project design, implementation, evaluation, dissemination and long-term cooperation.

Our objective is to build a strong and balanced European partnership where every organisation shares its expertise, develops innovative practices and creates a lasting impact for youth workers and young people across Europe.

If your organisation shares this vision, we would be delighted to collaborate and jointly develop a high-quality Erasmus+ KA153 project.
