PAYAS İLÇE MİLLİ EĞİTİM MÜDÜRLÜĞÜ

Payas District Directorate of National Education is the local public education authority responsible for coordinating and supporting 32 educational institutions in Payas, Hatay, Türkiye. Our network includes preschool, primary, secondary and upper secondary schools, a Vocational Training Centre (MESEM), vocational and technical high schools, and special education institutions.

Our mission is to improve the quality of education through innovation, international cooperation and lifelong learning. We actively promote Erasmus+ opportunities, non-formal learning, digital transformation, inclusion and active citizenship among students, teachers and education professionals.

A key strength of our organisation is our close cooperation with PayaSTEM AI & STEM Centre, where students and teachers develop competences in artificial intelligence, robotics, coding, digital technologies and project-based learning. We also work closely with our Vocational Training Centre (MESEM) and vocational schools to strengthen links between education, industry and employment by promoting practical skills, entrepreneurship and career development.

We are interested in Erasmus+ Youth, School Education, VET and European Solidarity Corps projects, particularly in the fields of youth work, digital innovation, STEM education, vocational education, inclusion, sustainability, wellbeing and intercultural learning.

As a reliable public institution, we aim to establish long-term international partnerships based on mutual learning, exchange of good practices and the development of high-quality European projects that create a lasting impact for young people, educators and local communities.
