Ready to step into EVS? - Multimeasure youth worker mobility on accreaditation - Set of trainigs with partership building elements and reinforced mentorship

AccREADYtation is a set of non-formal trainings with partnership building elements and continuous mentoring designed for organizations whom are highly motivated to better engage in international youth work and upon their consideration have the desire and capacity to step into EVS.

The aim of the project is to provide mentorship and guidance in the accREADYtation process for newcomers who are ready to step into EVS in order to support:
- the concrete accreditation processes of the fully committed partners;
- the realization of future quality projects with meaningful activist for the volunteers, the organizations and the local community as well;
-the competence development of the youth workers involved,
- the formulation of a solid base for future joint cooperation with remarkable impact on local and international level;
- the development of a unique toolkit sharing the real challenges faced by the participants during the initial process which can be widely distributed and used.
Special importance will be given to the recognition of learning processes in the EVS context and to the effect on youth employability in a broader perspective.

Besides the on-going mentorship the project consist of a set of trainings:
I. 2016. February (getting to know each other, the basics of EVS, principals of sending)
II: 2016. April (focus on hosting and the development of meaningful activities)
III: 2016. June (aspects of coordination, evaluation and follow-up )
Planned activity dates: 3 times 8days fixed upon the agreement of the interested partners. Planned location: each TC will take place in one of the partner’s countries in Europe (Programme or Partner country) according to the study programme and partner capacities.
Between the TC’s online follow-up and reinforced mentorship will be provided

The methods used are based on the principals of non- and in-formal learning, which includes tandem, peer learning, learning by doing and field visits and based on the almost 20 years experience in volunteer management and relevant trainings in our volunteer center and the experience of the further partners involved.

Number of participants: 20 (4 participant/partner)
The expected participants are:
- Partner organizations whom are able the send their representatives of organizations (youth, youth workers mixed) and further local stakeholders planning to step into evs, considering to submit evs accreditation by the end of the TC
- Partner organizations whom are able to host a TC in their home country.
- Both programme and partner countries are eligible.
- All partner’s involved in this project will need to have a PIC code
- Priority will be given to grass-rout youth organizations whit the support of further local, national partners.
