Youth exchange on 3D printing? - mission possible! Let's transform and empower our digital skills
Goal
Our youth exchange program's goal is to develop young participants' creative and digital
literacy, with a particular emphasis on the fields of digitalization and 3D modelling. Our goal
is to provide participants with the information, abilities, and self-assurance necessary to
successfully go through the digital landscape by immersing them in a dynamic and
collaborative environment.
Objectives
By the end of the project, we aim to achieve the following objectives:
O1. Using 3D printing, introduce the participants to the topic of digital education.
O2. Make the participants and their communities aware of the potential career prospects
that digital competencies—specifically, 3D printing—can provide.
O3. Encourage and enhance the skills and knowledge required for participants to actively
pursue self-employment, seek employment, and engage in entrepreneurial endeavours related to 3D printing.
Main activities:
1. Workshop with engineer
2. Study visit Linkmenų factory
3. Practical sessions learning to work with relevant software tools for 3D modelling and actual printing.
4. Panel discussions with experts in the field to explore the current trends, challenges, and future prospects and change in employment.
5. Digital scavenger hunt
6. Closing exchange event: open exhibition of printed creations for local community
We are looking for ONLY 1 partner to join this amazing youth exchange. Unleash your potential!
Partner is expected to send group of 10 people (9 participants + 1 group leader) in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Please identify how many and what kind of participants with fewer opportunities are you planning to send (at least 3 per group).
Youth exchange is planned to take place from 12th till 21st of March, 2025.
