The project is about saving our culture using the things we all use in our everyday life – clothes. The main thing we want to achieve with this is to make young people appreciate their culture, to show them ways they can express it to others using their clothes and to give them a chance to try to make something by themselves. The young people in this project will have to make their own clothing design connecting it with their folkloric patterns and symbols and later turn it into real life (sew it). The Project will take part from 14.07.14-23.07.14 it will take part in Latvia, (near) Riga. We expect participants who are 15-18 years young.
