Ulbroka Music and Art school support association BUMMS

Ulbrokas Music & Arts School Association "BUMMS" was established in the 2010th on the 18th February. We operate on the basis of statutes and our direct target group is Ulbrokas Music & Arts school, children and youth, as well as their families. Our aims and objectives: - establishing Lifelong learning and other non-formal education-related programs and various trainings, workshops, camps, academies, clubs and seminars, by providing educational oppurtunities at all stages of peoples lives to take part in stimulating learning experiences, as well as helping to develop the education and training sector. - promoting youth voluntary work, non-formal education, initiative and participation in local and international programs, as well as organizing youth clubs, trainings, camps, seminars and other support activities for youth development , education and employment. - working on expansion of programs for raising education and vocational learning opportunities for preschool and primary school children creative, emotional and intellectual development, by using music and arts educational methods. - improve vocational education and other leisure facilities, diversifying interest and alternative education programs and methods, by supplementing and implementing them in. Promote them by encouraging children, young people and other stakeholders on equal creative participation. - building the space for different community groups to discover, develop, improve and harmonize ideas and proposals that could contribute the integration processes. - strengthening family links and values. - preserving and enhancing the Latvian cultural identity and cultural heritage. - promoting tolerance towards different cultures of the world, social, ethnic and religious diversity, by respecting and evaluating them.
