Zeynep Ana Cooperative

Zeynep Ana Cooperative is a solidarity-based production cooperative established to support women's active participation in economic and social life. It was founded on December 2, 2022, in the Sürgü neighborhood of Doğanşehir district. The main goal of the cooperative is to mobilize the production power of women living in rural areas, contribute to local development, and make women's labor more visible.The cooperative members produce natural and local products using traditional methods, offering handmade goods such as jams, noodles, tarhana (fermented soup mix), tomato paste, and dried foods to consumers. The cooperative also prioritizes eco-friendly and sustainable agricultural practices. Zeynep Ana Cooperative aims to reach a wider audience through local markets as well as digital platforms.
Bringing together the knowledge, skills, and solidarity of women, this initiative contributes to regional employment and stands as a role model for gender equality.
