The city of Joensuu has 73000 inhabitants. Youth work of Joensuu city has 12 youth club houses with club and open door activities for children at age of 10-12 years and for youngsters at age of 13-19 -years. We also have very active youth city council with 40 yougsters organising events and taking an active part to decision making proceses. Beside these we run projects with youth groups for example with young media editors and democracy project group. We also have social youth workers.

We want to learn cultures through outdoor activities and recreation and to get to know everyday life and lifestyle on youth’s eyes. We search for hosting group.

Friendship Awards

Learn something about each others culture and lifestyles. Foremost we would like to have fun and get new international friends by doing something meaningful.
