ABOUT US
We are the inheritors of an endless treasure. We are part of a chain which was seeded centuries ago and which blossoms with new treasures in every season...
We only represent one single ring of this big chain of foundations, which was incorporated with the aim of sustaining the existence of any creation in its best form until the end of world during our civilization journey. Since 1996, we have been working for the education of the children and the young.
Our Foundation was founded under the name, Istanbul Youth and Education Service Foundation (ISEGEV), with the leadership of our 12th President, Esteemed Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, when he was the Metropolitan Mayor of Istanbul. On August 2012, our name changed from ISEGEV to TÜRGEV, Service For Youth And Education Foundation of Turkey, aiming at expanding our service area all around Turkey and even outside of Turkey.
In 1996, we opened our first higher education dormitory in Istanbul, which was followed by many other dormitories and guest houses in many other provinces of Turkey. We are taking our services to even a broader aspect with Ibn Haldun University, which is up for becoming a distinguished Higher Education Institution, as well as with kindergartens, elementary Montessori schools, and our ongoing activities abroad.
As TÜRGEV, we are currently giving service to many students both in Turkey and in various locations of the world, who herald the coming of an unfading spring with their ideas, wisdom, ethics and passion. We are committed to support these young plants until they become a giant plane tree…
OUR MISSION
We plant the seed of future tree in the garden of good morals and virtue, feed it with science and technology, art and culture, reinforce it with sports, and enrich it with literature and social life… So that our children and young people can maintain their education life properly, we follow up on their material and moral needs and respond to these needs using the advanced facilities of our era... We do our best to raise them as responsible and self-confident individuals who are aware of their civilization legacy... We are working for establishing a generation who will be not just observers, but also active playmakers on the world stage... We well know that the future needs their sound steps.
OUR VISION
We have started our journey with the aim of raising the children and the young, who are the eternal ring of the humanity chain, as the architects of the future by supporting them in scientific, intellectual, spiritual and physical aspects. We are marching constantly for opening up the horizon and the way for these architects who will be building the Great Turkey. We are following the marks of a holy road taken at pre-eternity with the call of eternity.

We do educate not only students but also sons and daughters who will heal the wounds of the humanity and who will represent mercy, justice and peace in the world. Therefore, since 1996, we have been providing home-like dormitories to students who study away from their families. Just like a parent who cannot discriminate against or in favor of any of his children, we take care of the needs of our students individually and equally, as if they are our own children.
We organize scientific and cultural activities in the schools and dorms of our Foundation, and give our students the chance to meet successful academics, artists and politicians.

IN THESE DORMITORIES...
Doors of TÜRGEV Dormitories are open for all the young girls in the world. Our dormitories host students from 37 countries including USA, Russia, Australia and Canada. This multicultural environment of trust is essential for raising individuals who can establish strong relationships with people all around the world, acknowledge different cultures, aware of the developments in the world, and who can come up with solutions to the global problems with local sensitivities in mind. Our Turkish students act as hosts in some way to our foreign students in TÜRGEV, and they can be seen as cultural ambassadors in this natural friendly environment... The tree of humanity, which is rooted in our homeland with branches reaching out to four continents and fruits distribut- ed equally all around the world, is growing safely within TÜRGEV dorms.

EDEP - CENTER FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION
The roots of TÜRGEV tree is watered with science, while its branches are fed with sun of wisdom. TÜRGEV Center for Excellence in Education, EDEP (also means MANNERS in Turkish), supports young ladies of undergraduate and graduate studies who want to be educated on Arabic language studies, Islamic sciences, social sciences and other subjects, besides their university education. These 5-year education programs, which support the development of TÜRGEV’s students with a sound consciousness and moral equipment, are given by the leading teachers of their own field. Having started its education programs in 2014 - 2015 academic year, EDEP also provides Educational Counseling as well as 3-year specialty programs and Language Education in Jordan. TÜRGEV also provides accommodation to the students who are accepted to the Excellence in Education programs.
EDEP is establishing a library with the aim of nurturing female scientists with science and wisdom resources. Muhammed Emin Er Library functions as an application and specialization center for Islamic Sciences and Social Sciences.
EDEP generation is getting prepared to shine on the horizon of the future with their knowledge sufficient to respond to all the needs of their era.
TURKEN Foundation
Branches of the TÜRGEV tree, which is nurtured by the rich soil of our rooted civilization, reach out to every corner of the world today. Turken Foundation, founded jointly by TÜRGEV and Ensar Foundation in USA, provides both accommodation and scholarships to the Turkish students studying abroad.
Having opened its first guest house in New York, the foundation has now built a complex offering many social and cultural facilities to its guests. Turken Foundation offers service in London, Boston and Washington as well as in New York City. On September 2015, Turken Foundation opened its guest house in London, and now it is planning to expand its service network to Austria.

IBN HALDUN UNIVERSITY
TÜRGEV, whose principle is to educate self-consious, having a sense of history, investigating, questioning, studying, productive entrepreneurial young people, founded Ibn Haldun University.
Ibn Haldun University’s (IHU) motto is Intellectual Independence. Instruction started in the 2017-2018 academic year with 215 undergraduates, (150 from Turkey and 65 from abroad.) Over 250 graduate students are also enrolled in various IHU departments, plus another 100 from more than forty countries who have already been pursuing their studies in the Department of Civilization Studies under the Alliance of Civilizations Institute.

Currently, more than a hundred academics are lecturing across eleven departments in six schools. They provide instruction highlighting comparative methods across all disciplines. Additional emphasis is placed on embracing both Eastern and Western learning and scholarship.
