The Youth Dialogue Program (YDP) has emerged from the initiative of young people from Serbia and Kosovo, with the aim of reviving the interrupted cooperation between young Serbs and Albanians after the conflicts in 1999. Since then YDP has widen its focus and is currently active in the following fields:
• Interethnic Dialogue within Kosovo and Serbia
• Lobbying and Advocacy for Human and Minorities Rights
• Educational activities promoting non-violent approaches to conflict
• Global Education and Intercultural learning
In the last years, the main focus of the Youth Dialogue Programme has been intercultural dialogue and understanding, together with empowerment of young people, especially ones coming from marginalized and vulnerable groups. Most of the organisation’s activities have been implemented on local and regional level, with the young people in Serbia and Kosovo and later on in the Middle East. The organisation is dedicated to facilitating dialogue and intercultural learning of those who are separated by deep-rooted conflicts.
Organisation addresses its aims through different nonformal education activities, mainly focused on the topics of: global education, intercultural learning, human rights education, street campaigning, educational methods and methodologies, training of trainers, etc.
EduGaming is focused on developing specific competencies in designing educational games for young people, on topics related to social and global challenges.
