The Convent Centre of Language and Art

"The Convent Center of Language and Art" is a Cultural Association based in Amantea, a small sunny town in Calabria, South of Italy. It was founded 16 years ago, in 2002 by The Linguist and English Professor Ms. Diana Bruni. Since then, the activities of the association have never stopped.

Convent Center aims to the promotion of European languages and Arts, as well as boosting artistic and cultural events that give to the widest possible audience a complete view of the figurative Arts, Music and European languages.
Convent Centre has strengthened its educational and artistic offer through the years by adapting its work to the various requests and changes from the territory in which it operates.

Our regular activities include the organization of high-quality courses for all aged learners and the empowerment of their languages skills (English, Spanish, Greek, French, German, Japanese) by using innovative methodologies, especially with kids and young learners.
The association uses new educational approaches such as theater, exhibition, film screening, workshops and events for strengthening the participation of the audience and open their perspectives to new cultures and visions.

Moreover, Convent Center focuses on the promotion and participation to the ERASMUS+ projects in order to give to its pupils and other the opportunity to meet other youngsters, exchange best practices and learn by doing abroad.

We want to empower people to become Citizens of the World by supporting them in strengthening their multilinguistic and creative skills and competences.
Our staff is very well experienced in teaching and approaching different aged learners.
We have a small administrative department with two members which are in charge of the management area, accounting, relations with parents and pupils and the daily organization of the centre.
We have two multilingual experienced teachers which are in charge of the didactic programmes.
We have one volunteer who support the organization in the communication field and Instagram and Facebook management.
We do have different reliable people who do always support us when we organize or host events.
