Meet up: Discover our Values through Volunteering

The project aims to bring together ideas, visions and experiences of youngsters from different countries for building a more tolerant and inclusive society.

We wish to create in Amantea a rich intercultural environment where cultural and linguistic differences are values instead of obstacles.

The rapid changes of the last decades have weakened our roots. We want to restore the common linguistic aspects between the Mediterranean countries, in particular between Spain, Greece and Italy to regain the values of tolerance and solidarity.

The volunteers will collaborate to the activities of The Convent Centre of Language and Art - a cultural association and foreign languages school.
Meet Up: Discover our Values through Volunteering aims to build a more inclusive society, open to cultural differences, more inclined to listen to the various problems that afflict our communities by using foreign languages and non-formal methodologies as a tool to improve Communication and Participation in our local community.
Activities and events are linked to kids, teenagers and adults in order to give the possibility to our volunteers to get to know the best from our local community. Creative laboratories, workshops and events will be organized together with the volunteers.
