Oud Vosmeer's Muziekvereniging

The music union in Oud Vossemeer ( The Netherlands) started in 2011 a project named "Samen Muziek Maken is Vet Cool". The purpose of the project was and is to provide music education for all students on the tree primary schools in the village. Why? Because we want children to experience the pleasure of making music. It enhances their self esteem and makes them feel good. Playing music together stimulate their learning activities by the integration with the cognitive lessons and develops social skills like group behaviour. In our opinion music education should be an essential part of the educational program in primary schools. For the period 1-8-2014 until 1-8-2018 we are looking for a partnership with primary schools in Europe ( for example Belgium or Germany) for our music project "Muziek op Maat".
