K&K was incorporated in 2006.

By considering art as a powerful tool for change and the development of society, we organized projects and cultural and artistic activities, finding forms of communication that had an impact on the general public.

For example, we provided a video-art exhibition of works by various young Durres artists screening films related to youth themes, which was open to the public on the main promenades of Durres and Vlora cities, at the height of the tourist (summer) season. This exhibition was an important means of communication and also provoked "different thinking" among audience members.

We have worked with different groups to create artistic concepts which were later implemented with the use of recycled materials. This was a nurturing experience for the young participants, volunteers and for all the citizens in the capital of Tirana.

Kultura dhe Komuniteti (Culture and Community) is a part of the Earth Charter Initiative.

The Earth Charter principles guide our organizations and programs. We consider the Earth Charter a powerful education tool and consider its promotion as one of our key objectives.
