KREDİ VE YURTLAR KURUMU ANKARA İL MÜDÜRLÜĞÜ (Accommodation Scholarship Affairs -Ankara Provincial Directorate-Education,Training and Social Departmant )

Our organization was established in 22 August 1961 by the government to provide loan / scholarship, food, hosting and other ways for financially disadvantaged successful students to come those up with the best higher education degrees. As a Provincial Directorate in Ankara we are serving consisting of a total of 630 number of personnel, comprise of 140 headquarters, 490 student accommodation officers in 24 dormitories and hosting 30.180 graduate and undergraduate students.

Objectives:
• Continue support the students by the multiplying number of new dormitories every year with increasing quality of service and produce solutions for financial problems by providing scholarships and loans to students from all levels of higher education.
• Offering loan / scholarship, food, hosting are not only the facilities but also assisting students’ personal development and contributing their career plans are our specific objectives.
• In this context, a training department located in each dormitories is available to assess our students free time, create cultural and historical awareness, ensure those get sufficient information about future planning and professional life after college.
• Organization social, cultural and sports activities is among our principal tasks in order to improve the level of key competences and skills of young people through strengthened links between the youth field and the labour market.
• KYK Academy, Leadership Seminars, Career Talks, Awareness Conferences, Language, Music, Religious Values, Education Courses, Football, Basketball, Chess, Traditional Turkish Archery are our main activities.
