Isegoría is a social SME that works mainly in the region of Castilla y León. The main aim is the
promotion and implementation of all those actions and activities of a civic, cultural and/or
educational nature addressed to fostering active citizen participation in democratic life, with
special emphasis on groups of people with fewer opportunities.

Among the activities carried out are information and advice to third parties on issues of special
interest in public life, training on issues related to media literacy, critical awareness, discourse
analysis and others that contribute, in the same way, to favoring an active participation of
citizens. Also, those aimed at promoting innovation and research applied to citizen
participation in democratic life, as well as programs and projects aimed at promoting equal
opportunities, employment opportunities for citizens, active participation in rural areas and
social integration for participation.

In the same way, Isegoría works to promote cooperation with other entities in the area in order
to create synergies and enlarge the impact of its actions. Besides, Isegoría is committed to
promoting and collaborating in studies, conferences, consultancy actions, seminars, courses,
projects of research and editing and distribution of all kinds of publications aimed at promoting
the knowledge and needs of citizens for the sake of their active participation.

On the other hand, the entity also shows its commitment to the Sustainable Development
Goals and the 2030 Agenda by promoting and carrying out activities related to the principles
and objectives of education for development, development cooperation and similar. The
purpose is to get a greater critical awareness of citizens, as well as boost the promotion and
defense of fundamental human rights, equality between men and women and
non-discrimination based on sex. These objectives are pursued beyond their own territory of
action, contributing to the strengthening of its working networks, as well as to the relations
with entities from other regions and/or countries.

In line with the above, the main values that Isegoría defends are the following:
