Innovative Education Center

The Innovative Education Center (IEC Austria) was established in Vienna in 2018 by a group of experienced youth workers and international consultants. The aim of IEC Austria team is to develop projects, training courses and non-formal learning activities to support and improve the use of sport, music and art, as a tool for healthy life, active citizenship, empowerment, social inclusion, mutual understanding, entrepreneurial
development, and leadership .

In a very short time of period, the association grew from a small-scale NGO to an organization with permanent staff, a network of volunteers. IEC Austria has two main
fields: education and sports.

Education programs are developed by a highly qualified team who has expertise in regenerative and sustainable living, creative ecology, archeology and museology,
research, art and system science, communication, videography and animation, behavior science, architecture, gastronomy, pre-childhood development, adaptive leadership, entrepreneurship, circular economy, biodiversity, climate change, nature conservation and protection, gamification, engineering and industry 5.0 and 6.0, coastal and ocean engineering, and etc.
Sport programs are focused on education in and through sports priority of European Commission. IEC has been running many sport projects where hiking and mountaineering, snow shoe, cycling, mountain biking and women’s football are used as a tool for education and social inclusion.
