Gramigna Organizzazione di Volontariato

The "Gramigna" is an association that deals in our territory with the promotion of no profit activities such as: urban social gardens, gathering and using spontaneous herbs, cultural encounters.
We founded on our farm, "The Herb House", joining to a national network that involves the population in knowing spontaneous herbs.
Last year, Benevento's first urban social garden was born promoted by us, through a project that involved 4 local associations, including Slow Food.

"Gramigna" was born from Cooperative "Lentamente". There are the same people who do different activities: "Lentamente" is a farm that produces food and that activates social activities in agriculture.
"Lentamente" has 20 hectares that used to produce grain, hemp, spelled, vegetables and honey.
It is born in 2013-14, so is a very young farm. Born from nothing on public ground requested to local authorities.
"Lentamente" is an organic social farm with a network with some social cooperatives.
Is a part of a consortium that works toinclude disadvantaged people: psychiatric disabled, drug addicts, and prisoners who are working with us. We usually work with the jail, the court and the sanitarian authorities of Benevento.

Summing up: we are a dynamic and innovative reality. Full of ideas that we are realizing thanks to the ability to create network and to make projects.
