Global Shapers Institute

Global Shapers Institute is a non-profit organisation based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and part of the Global Shapers Community – a World Economic Forum initiative of young people aged 18–30, with more than 500 hubs in over 150 countries. We empower young people to develop entrepreneurial and future skills and to take an active part in society. All our activities are free of charge, so every young person can join regardless of social background, and they are run entirely by volunteers.

Our main programmes:
- Workshops in secondary schools within active citizenship classes: divergent thinking (400+ students in 2025/26) and the safe and effective use of AI in learning.
- Shape Talk: moderated debates on socially relevant topics that build public speaking, argumentation and active listening.
- Summer school "Path to Success" for students aged 15–18: AI, personal growth, team leadership, personal finance and entrepreneurship; participants develop and pitch their own business idea (last edition: 30 participants, 12 speakers).
- AI Workshops and monthly public lectures: an intensive AI learning sprint for young people, open lectures and moderated talks.

What we bring to a partnership:
- Direct access to young people aged 15–30 and to secondary schools in Ljubljana and beyond.
- Practical know-how in AI literacy, entrepreneurship education and youth debate formats.
- A team experienced in organising multi-day programmes, and the Global Shapers network for international dissemination.
- As an Erasmus+ newcomer, we fit the priorities of small-scale partnerships (KA210).

We are open to: youth exchanges (KA152) as a sending or hosting partner, youth participation activities (KA154), mobility of youth workers (KA153), small-scale and cooperation partnerships (KA210, KA220), European Youth Together and European Solidarity Corps projects.
