GLAFKA s.r.o. is the Czech based educational and consulting institution located in Prague focusing on knowledge and innovation transfer in the field of lifelong learning and further education; labour market and entrepreneurship; teaching and training methods and technologies.
We operate in a filed of non-formal education of various target groups since 2014. Our main goal is the empowerment of disadvantaged, vulnerable or excluded groups of citizens.
We focus our activities primarily on the implementation of activities that support:
• sensitivity, empathy and social responsibility towards vulnerable groups in society;
• digital competence of citizens (innovative ICT courses, cyber security, preventive programs).

Our methodology and training programme on inclusion and diversity has several goals:
• promote sensitivity, empathy and social responsibility towards vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society with the intention of strengthening equal opportunities and equal access.
• build critical thinking and work with information that points to diversity, barriers and obstacles in society (destroy prejudices and stereotypes).
• discuss equalization of chances - a tool for improving the quality of life of vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
Within our methodology we use different tools and methods as stories (authentic stories in a form of face to face testimonies, online testimonies and thematic ebooks), emotional experience, virtual reality, work with fairly-tale characters, emoticons, image projection and reflection.

Our team members have extensive expertise in a field of digital competences as well pedagogy and didactical education. GLAFKA promote innovative approach of effective ICT use in daily live as well within the educational process. In respect to storytelling and critical thinking/reading we developed methodologies how effectively use storytelling for ICT training of adults/seniors.
