EMC Suvereto (Fondazione ETS - ICC) traces its roots back to a band tradition established in 1823. For over two centuries, it has served as the beating heart of Suvereto and the Val di Cornia's artistic, social, and cultural life, blending an extraordinary historical heritage with the challenges of contemporary art.
Our Core Pillars
- Historical Memory and Musical Archive
We preserve a historical musical archive of immense value, officially declared to be of particularly important historical interest by the Ministry of Culture (Archival and Bibliographical Superintendency of Tuscany). This documentary and sheet music heritage bears witness to centuries of Tuscan musical and wind band history, kept alive through dedicated study, cataloging, and digitalization projects.

- Music Education and Outreach
We run the historical Music School, serving as a key reference point for training young talents and music enthusiasts of all ages. We promote music education as a tool for inclusive growth and social cohesion, alongside high-level concert seasons and cultural festivals.

- Artistic Residences and Innovation
We believe in the dialogue between past and future. To foster this, we promote artistic residencies, research laboratories, and cultural exchanges that bring composers, musicians, and researchers to Suvereto from across Italy and the international stage, offering them an inspiring space for creation nestled within the medieval village and the Cloister of San Francesco.
