Education and Training Centre of Voluntary Work Corps in Tarnow

The main goal of Education and Training Centre OHP in Tarnow (CKiW OHP in Tarnow) is to enable educationally neglected young people to complete their education and to get professional qualifications. It also aims at running educational, preventive and rehabilitation activities among socially not adapted youth, requiring special educational activities. Running socially-living, culturally-educational and recreationally-sportive activities are to create conditions to learn and to get a profession, to raise the level of socialization, family education and to develop one’s interests and take care of one’s health.

Staying at the Education and Training Centre OHP in Tarnow gives youth the opportunity to develop their educational, artistic, cultural, recreational and sport interests. CKiW OHP in Tarnow has an experience in Polish-Ukrainian cooperation. Every year, in cooperation with the Society of Lovers of Lviv and the Borderlands of South Eastern and Tarnowska Fundacja Dobrosąsiedzkiej Współpracy it co-organizes summer holidays for children and young people from Ukraine (since 8 years). CKiW OHP in Tarnow has also contact with a number of Polish organizations in Ukraine, among others, Polish House in Kiev, the Polish Association of Białocerkiewszczyzna. This year, for the twelfth time the "International Disabled Youth Spartakiada" was held. We cooperate with the Foundation New Inspirations.
