CODENAF

CODENAF is a Spanish non-profit organisation founded in 1996, with 30 years of experience transforming social challenges into opportunities through education, inclusion, community development and international cooperation.

Founded and managed through the collaboration of people with migrant and Andalusian backgrounds, CODENAF combines deep community knowledge with proven experience in designing and implementing social and educational programmes.

In 2025 alone, we supported 2,907 people from 65 nationalities, delivering initiatives in youth empowerment, intercultural education, employability, social inclusion and community participation across Spain.

Our key areas of expertise include:

- Inclusion & Diversity: Engaging young people with fewer opportunities, migrant communities and underrepresented groups, promoting equal access, participation and social cohesion.

- Intercultural Education & Non-Formal Learning: Developing educational activities, intercultural mediation, anti-discrimination initiatives and participatory learning methodologies.

- Youth Empowerment & Active Citizenship: Strengthening young people's skills, participation, autonomy and opportunities for personal and professional development.

- Employability & Digital Inclusion: Delivering skills development, vocational training, employment pathways and digital empowerment programmes.

- Community Development & International Cooperation: Connecting civil society, educational institutions, public authorities and communities, with particular expertise in Euro-Mediterranean cooperation.

We bring more than thematic expertise: we offer established community networks, experienced professionals, practical implementation capacity and direct engagement with people facing barriers to participation.

We can actively contribute to European projects through participant outreach, needs assessments, local pilot activities, intercultural workshops, non-formal education, capacity building, testing of innovative methodologies, stakeholder engagement, dissemination and evaluation.

Our experience working with educational institutions, public administrations and civil society organisations enables us to translate European project objectives into meaningful, measurable results at community level.

We are actively seeking European partnerships, particularly under Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges, Youth Workers Mobility, Youth Participation Activities, Small-scale Partnerships and Cooperation Partnerships, as well as other relevant European programmes addressing inclusion, education, human rights and social cohesion.

We welcome collaboration with organisations looking for a reliable, experienced and proactive partner capable of contributing to project development, implementation and long-term impact.

CODENAF – Turning European cooperation into real opportunities for people and communities.
