Civic Education and Youth Empowerment Center/CEYEC

Civic Education and Youth Empowerment Center is running activities for youngsters aged between 18 and 35.
The objectives of the organisation are:
- To promote human rights, democracy and equal rights among youth
- To foster conflict resolution and the establishment of peaceful environment
- To stimulate youngsters' active participation and involvement in society and decision making process
- To increase the political self-consciousness in society
- To support the promotion and development of self education and non formal education among youth
- To increase the participation and integration of youth with fewer opportunities in youth projects and life
- To promote intercultural dialogue
- To foster the dissemination of voluntary work
The goals of the organisation:
-Solving different problems in society (cultural, environmental, integrational, unemployment, human rights etc) through youngsters’ active involvement
-Formation of a peaceful culture
-Development of an individual through volunteering
-Propagation of Human rights and equality
Core members of CEYEC are working together for already 5 years originally being members of "Civic Education and Youth Empowerment" informal group. They have conducted Training courses related to Human Rights, Democracy, Rule of Law, Peace-building, Personal development, Civic activism. They have cooperated individually and were involved in implementation of project financed by Erasmus+, Council of Europe, German office of Foreign Affairs, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, etc. They have more than 10 years personal experience working in Youth Sphere.
Besides having experience in informal education specialists with certain academic background are also involved in our team which allows incorporating interactive learning process with strong theoretical input, giving the stakeholders opportunity to combine entertainment and study in the same place.
We are active as well in the field of Youth Exchanges, Training Courses and Seminars. We are promoting youngsters, group leaders and youth workers participation in every mobility opportunity to get useful skills and competences to invest in the youth field for active participation and citizenship. CEYEC staff has taken part in several experiences as participants as well as support staff, organizers and facilitators on local and international level, with the objective to increase these competences in order to offer the best support to new volunteers and future group leaders committed into active participation.
