BOCS Foundation

BOCS Foundation has been providing global education (development and human rights education, environmental and peace education, etc.) in formal, informal and non-formal ways since 1975 (formally registered in 1994). BOCS Foundation works with Global Southern partners from India (help schooling of poor tribal and outcast girls in Gujarat since 1977), and some African countries.

BOCS is the Hungarian member of IFOR (ifor.org), ECEN (ecen.org) and EuroNGOs (eurongos.org) international networks, member of Hungarian Association of NGOs for Development and Humanitarian Aid (http://www.hand.org.hu/english.shtml), of Hungarian Africa Platform (http://www.afrikaplatform.hu/index.php/en), of Hungarian Green Movement, and actively takes part in the Hungarian youth sector, member of the Hungarian Students' Rights Sector and the Network Of Youth Experts Initiatives.

Past projects

CITIZENSHIP CAN BE FUN!

Global Generation exchange will host 24 young people from 6 countries in July 2013 for an intercultural exchange with the theme of Solidarity among Generations.

ECO LOBBY

The aim of the project is to learn about and practice skills and means of civil participation and eco-lobby through a live experiment of a micro-campaign.

THE GLOBAL EDUCATORS

We will review in what way are our current paradigms limit us in coping with the consequences of our global crisis and take a look from new perspectives
