Beykoz Municipality

Beykoz Municipality is a local public authority serving nearly 250,000 residents in the northeastern part of İstanbul. As a municipality, we deliver core local government services such as zoning and urban planning, infrastructure and public space management, and community development, while also supporting local agriculture.

Alongside these responsibilities, we provide strong community-based services in education, culture, youth and sports. Through BEYSEM (Beykoz Art and Education Centre), we offer free courses for all age groups, and via our Youth and Sports Directorate we run regular training programmes and activities across multiple sports disciplines. With extensive parks, cultural venues and recreational facilities, Beykoz offers accessible public spaces that strengthen wellbeing and social cohesion.

With experienced municipal staff and cooperation capacity with NGOs, schools and international partners, Beykoz Municipality is well positioned to implement projects that promote youth participation, skills development, sustainability and intercultural dialogue.
