Associazione di Volontariato NEW DEAL

Associazione di Volontariato New Deal is a youth NGO which was born as a new initiative from a group of friends in Reggio Calabria (Italy) for supporting young people and giving our help to other volunteering associations of the Mediterranean area.

Our objectives are:
* To introduce and involve youth in international opportunities for a better mutual understanding and self-cultural awareness;
* To support a structured volunteering system through trainings and initiatives for locals at all levels;
* To develop and organize projects for youth and people who work in the youth field as for people interested in Euro-Mediterranean and Euro-SEE cooperation;
* To analyse and distribute the results of our work to involve more people to actively take part in the democratic life;
* To overcome the obstacles coming from geopolitical, social, educational and economical situations;
* To support the civil society in the field of volunteering and communicating with different cultures.

The main topics we face in our daily activity:
• Volunteering and youth active participation in democracy building;
• Social inclusion;
• Youth employability and creativity in job market;
• Human Rights;
• Sport benefits in the social life;
• Environment and sustainable development;
• Interreligious dialogue;
• Legality and fight against ‘Ndrangheta in the Mediterranean zone and our society;
• Cooperation in the EuroMed zone (peace process, human rights, democracy building,fight against racism and stereotypes, networking, etc.)
• Cooperation in the Euro-SEE zone (youth development, women rights, democracy building, networking. stereotypes, etc.)

Our active intervention is based on projects for young people for the diffusion of the European culture, mobility, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding, social inclusion and youth rights, while supporting a positive attitude towards the others.
