Association of craftsmen Samobor

Udruženje obrtnika Samobora, Svete Nedelje i Stupnika is a recognizable proffesional association that gathers over 1300 craftsmen and craftswomen of different professions from City of Samobor, City of Sveta Nedelja and Municipality of Stupnik. The Association provides support for it's members, giving them legal, economics and accounting advices and various different informations. A lot of work is done in organizing various educations and courses for our members. Special focus of our Association is connecting craftsmen and craftswomen with other entrepreneurs in country and abroad. Also, we have lots of experience in writing and implementing EU projects. Within the domain of Erasmus+, organization has successfully implemented 1 VET Mobility (KA1). In partnership with 4 european youth organisations we are currently implementing „Coolinary Youth“project within Erasmus+ programme.

Our objectives are:
• promotion, encouragement and participation in promotion of crafts and trade, especially traditional crafts;
• promotion of local gastronomy and tourism;
• education of our members and public by holding meetings, lectures, seminars, workshops and exhibitions in order to promote our objectives;
• development and implementation of studies and programs;
• promoting young craftsmen and craftswomen active participation in local community and development;
• ensuring public access to information on handicrafts and entrepreneurship;
• preparation and publication of printed and audio-visual materials, computer programs and promotional materials related to activities of the Association;
• Cooperation with other associations and organizations in order to achieve the objectives of the Association, especially with tourism-related vocational schools;
• connecting craftsmen and craftswomen with other entrepreneurs in country and abroad;
• arranging of trade fairs and exhibitions for commercial and/or advertising purposes, organisation, preparation and services concerning the participation of others in trade fairs, exhibitions and demonstrations of goods.
