Asociatia Sfanta familie din Nazaret is non-profit institution that offers development opportunities for youth and children, dealing with prevention of school dropout and personal development for young people, an association that works from 2008. In this direction we opened a Integrative Center in wich we have many projects and programs. Here we opened an interactive after school for children that works through peer to peer education, wich means a child who comes from a disadvantaged backgrounds are taken by young volunteers and the latter after a previous training, occupies a few hours a week of education and proper growth of the child. Our association organize workshops and personal development trainings for teenagers and young people volunteers. Beneficiaries are children between the ages 6-14 years and youth programs are from 14 to 22 years. We have 12 children enrolled in the center after school and 45 young volunteers who take care of children and participate in personal development workshop. The target group is children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds economically and socially, but not only. We organize workshops for emotional and social development for children and young people and we work in raising awareness about social-emotional learning process in personal development of any human being. We use specially non-formal methods in our work.
Understanding and recognizing the importance of non-formal education and learning process, we would like to extend our cooperation at the international level, doing our best to supply young people with information, training and opportunities available. At the same time we are open to share our experience and good practices on youth activities, social involvement, the power of art and cultural diversity.
Starting with 2020 we have the European Solidarity Corps accreditation to send and receive international volunteers to be part of ESC volunteering projects.
