About Múevete por Europa

Muévete por Europa is a non-profit association based in Seville (Spain). Founded in 2019 due to the concern and motivation of its founders to contribute to the development and improvement of peoples’s quality of life. We develop, manage and implement international projects of social interest through awareness and promotion of values. We work in the field of non-formal education, through which we promote equality, we promote inclusion and interculturality.

Our main objective is to promote the educational, labor and social integration of young people, through the promotion of their integral development and their personal autonomy.

Aims of the organisation:

- Manage, develop and implement international training and mobility projects for young people and professionals who work with this group.
- Promote projects of social interest through awareness and promotion of values through non-formal and informal education. These being of a different nature.
- Defend the rights and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and / or with special needs, always guided by the principles of integration and social inclusion and normalization.
- Promote equal opportunities between men and women.
- Carry out international cooperation activities for development.
- Encourage volunteering and the selfless participation of people.
- Encourage work and collaboration with other entities that work in the same field, with the intention of promoting networking and the exchange of experiences.

Activities and experience

Muévete por Europa Association team has experience and extensive training in working with young people, especially with vulnerable young people or those at risk of social exclusion. We have worked with this group from the field of non-formal education and informal, especially in leisure activities and educational free time, summer camps, academic support workshops and international mobility projects.

We are partners and coordinators in youth exchange projects and training courses for workers in the field of youth of the Erasmus + Program. We also developed two DiscoverEu Inclusion Action projects and got the KA1 Accreditation in the field of youth. Morever, the Association is partner en KA2 projects. We are currently working to incorporate ourselves into new actions of the Program and to be able to provide lifelong learning opportunities to more young people.

Target groups

Muévete por Europa works towards the inclusion of young people from diverse backgrounds and with different experiences. We work with youth aged 15 to 17 and 18 to 30, of whom at least 40% are considered vulnerable. The obstacles they face include economic difficulties, disability, discrimination (based on sex, gender identity, ethnicity, etc.), living in a rural or remote area, academic challenges, and social problems. Additionally, some of these young people, and the number is steadily increasing, face more than one of these obstacles, which are risk factors for vulnerability.
We have also recently started working with young adults over the age of 25 and adults. With this target group, we focus on training, either to enhance their employability or to provide them with specific workshops or activities to develop skills, particularly those related to working with youth.

Our work team

Muévete por Europa Association is made up of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. We are a team trained and experienced in various areas of social work; Psychology, Social Education, Social Work, Sociocultural and Tourist Animation, Training and Professional Orientation.
