Asociación Cultural Dayuri

Dayuri was born with the aim of promoting social participation and value education, fostering gender equality and social inclusion. To this end, we promote the empowerment of the general population, highlighting the importance of the role played by young people in promoting a more active and committed citizenship. Our goal is to foster social change, trying to create an impact on society through different interventions and actions related to several social areas, promoting European values and enhancing personal growth through education and access to culture. We provide activities, resources, training and services to the general population, especially to young people. These services also include different mobility opportunities both at the European and international level, promoting the exchange of good practices in all areas (social, cultural and educational) and fostering transnational cooperation. We also highlight interculturalism and diversity as positive and enriching values. Another of our key objectives is to increase awareness of environmental problems, encouraging sustainability as a transversal value in each one of the activities carried out by the association.
The organization has a short life but it is formed by 5 professionals with great experience in social participation activities, workshops and trainings in different topics such as: gender and diversity, social issues, motivation for job search (preferably aimed at young people), youth empowerment, digital skills and social skills. We develop collaborations with different entities and participate in the creation of cooperative work spaces. The people who make up the association have experience in the management and implementation of European projects such as Erasmus+ KA1, KA2 and KA3 and local initiatives.
