Asociacija "Darnios jungtys"

Our association's goals:
- Get to know and closely interact with various realities of local communities - which resonate with our vision and goals - involvement in their work/activities and cooperation.

- Create conditions for the development of ecological awareness, using various techniques and methods of non-formal education, during various occasions (lectures, seminars, workshops, solidarity actions, projects, exchanges, camps, events and others).

- To create a vibrant, diverse, respectful, safe, accessible, welcoming community where people can simply be, engage, learn and share, initiate a dialogue, create and spend time meaningfully, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender and sexuality, age, physical and mental capabilities, social and economic status, etc.

- To constantly share and inspire each other with various knowledge, competences and skills while creating an ecological society - a society where we witness ourselves as part of Nature, recognize the importance and role of all living and non-living forms in different ecosystems, and also conduct activities with deep respect and care the planet.

The social change we seek:
- Ecological awareness. To search for and create opportunities that would provide young people with space, means, tools and knowledge, enabling them to become ecological change makers in their communities, both in Lithuania and beyond.

- Social cohesion. Building bridges and mutual respect between people, both locally and globally. We want to oppose the division and polarization of people that currently threaten stable and democratic communities.

- Political participation. Bringing young people together into strong communities that have voices, influence political decisions and can fight for a sustainable, fair and democratic existence.
