Ambassadors of the Youth

Our organization is young, but extremely motivated and determined. Our volunteers come from really different backgrounds, but that is the reason, how we can easily adapt to various circumstances and themes of activities. The main object is to develop cultural, economic and social projects in Vilkaviškis district and international level. As Vilkaviškis is a Lithuanian province, the number of projects and other activities for the Youth are not common, but we are here to change this problem! We work with the secondary schools and non-governmental youth organisations in order to increase the level of cultural and mental prosperity of youth in Vilkaviškis region.

Our volunteers are young people, who aim to involve more young people in social activities. Being creative and innovative ourselves, we aim to encourage all young people to use all the possibilities and occasions they get. We understand the importance of internationality and good knowledge in foreign languages, so we participate in various projects and activities giving a chance for the Youth to learn something new and useful in this way.

Public institution “Ambassadors of the Youth” is relatively young youth non-governmental organization, but our members have lots of experience in the field of Youth, international and local projects. We personally have been actively involved in all stages of a youth exchange: planning, defining roles and responsibilities of project partners, meetings, logistics, communication between all partners involved, preparation, arranging project timetables, promotion of projects and dissemination of their results.

All public institution "Ambassadors of the Youth" staff have a relevant experience as project managers in the frame of both European and local funding. Members of our organization have organized or took part in a lot of youth projects such as Youth in Action programme's local youth initiatives, youth exchanges and youth democracy projects. They have more than 4 years of project managing experience which would help us to make this project (under the Erasmus+ programme) more successful. We have strong relations with our foreign partners and they rely on us and our work. We try to make youth feel that in our town and even in whole Lithuania there are many opportunities to express themselves at any form, to find activities that would be suitable for particular will or even to make your own new activities.
