Act Global CIC

Our organisation aims to educate young people about the issues of the world such as poverty, climate change and inequality. To achieve these goals, we develop and deliver international projects for young people and organisations working with young people, whilst also working with NGOs, businesses and other funders.

We believe that young people grow best through access to a global education, contact with people from different cultures and being exposed to new positive educational experiences. It’s also our hope that by supporting the development of global citizens, we can foster a more peaceful, sustainable and prosperous world.

Past projects

Faith, Peace and Communication

This is a six day training course that explore the relevance of different faiths and beliefs to young European Citizens.

Young Environmental Citizens for Climate Change (Food and water Security view from the Caucuses)

The project will look the issues of food and water security in Europe, the challeges ahead and how action by young people can create security for their future.

Hip-Hop for Social Cohesion and Active Citizenship

We will look at how the pillars of Hip-Hop (which are MC'ing, DJ'ing, Break Dancing and Graffiti) can bring about positive social change and engage young people

Developing Social and Business Entrepreneurial Skills for Young People in Rural Areas

The aim of the project is to discuss ways to promote entrepreneurship and creativity through non-formal education with young people living in rural areas.
