Academy of Youth Leaders is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation established in 2022 and based in Tbilisi, Georgia. We support young people through non-formal education, leadership development, volunteering, active citizenship and access to educational opportunities.
Our target group is young people aged 13–30. Our activities reach approximately 300–400 students annually, mainly in Tbilisi, alongside regional initiatives involving young people facing financial, geographical and other barriers.
We organise leadership and project management training, workshops, debates, camps, volunteering activities and educational guidance programmes. For example, our Educational Guide initiative brought together approximately 80 participants and involved cooperation with around six embassies, introducing students to international educational opportunities.
Our connections with schools, youth organisations, public institutions and regional networks support participant outreach and project implementation throughout Georgia. We can contribute participant recruitment and preparation, group leadership, travel coordination, workshops, meeting spaces, dissemination and follow-up activities.
We are seeking partnerships primarily as a sending organisation for Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges (KA152-YOU) and youth worker mobility and training courses (KA153-YOU), including mobility opportunities organised by accredited partners under KA151-YOU. We are also interested in exploring Cooperation Partnerships (KA220-YOU) where Georgian participation is eligible and adds value. With experienced partners, we are open to developing activities in Georgia.
Although the Academy is new to Erasmus+ partnerships, our staff bring substantial international experience. Our international coordinator, Luka Samkharadze, has participated in approximately 12 Erasmus+ projects and led groups in three. His expertise includes youth project development, participant preparation, facilitation and international coordination. President Kote Svanadze brings approximately 15 years of experience in the non-governmental sector and provides strategic oversight and legal representation. Additional trainers, coordinators and volunteers can be engaged according to project needs and resources.
We welcome partners interested in responsible, long-term cooperation and meaningful learning opportunities for young people.
