Training Course

10-18 May 2024 | Larache, Morocco

"Zero Addiction" will bring together 18 drug therapists from 6 countries for an immersive experience designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of effective interventions and approaches within youth drug therapy and social work practices.

In this training course, we will have 18 participants from Sweden, Morocco, France, Belgium, Germany, and Latvia.

In this call, we are looking for participants only from Sweden and Belgium.

Participants are expected to :

  • Share insights regarding the methods employed to address youth addiction and codependency within their respective countries as part of their contribution;
  • Share case studies from their professional experiences and describe the strategies employed to address them effectively;
  • Identify and articulate the challenges encountered in their respective countries regarding addiction treatment.

Objectives:

  • Explore cultural competence in addressing addiction and co-dependency within a social work context;
  • Understand the complex interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors contributing to addiction and co-dependency;
  • Develop proficiency in assessing and identifying signs of addiction and co-dependency within diverse populations;
  • Gain new tools, including participants’ approaches, for the treatment of addiction and co-dependency, enhancing the ability to provide comprehensive support and referrals for youth dealing with these issues;
  • Develop a Toolkit with all the outputs of the training.

Participation fee

Participation in the project is free of charge.

Accommodation and food

Meals and accommodation will be covered by the project budget.

Travel reimbursement

MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT PER COUNTRY PER PERSON:

  • Sweden € 480
  • Latvia € 480
  • France € 225
  • Germany € 310
  • Belgium € 225

Once you arrive in Morocco, with your country team, your transportation to/from the airport will be organized by the host organization without additional charges.

Travel costs are reimbursed within the maximum reimbursement amounts listed on the right. Make sure that your travel dates are a maximum of two days before and after the project takes place budget-wise.

Participants will receive the travel reimbursement via bank transfer within 2 months after the end of the project upon receiving all participant's original and scanned copies of their travel documentation, flight receipts indicating prices, and boarding passes for each flight taken.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
