Youthwork Hero's Journey

Training Course

12-30 April 2021 | Online, Romania

A training for youthworkers to equip them with tools to use the monomyth (the hero's journey) in their work with young people.

If you are looking for interesting and useful methods to enagage young people, to enhance their personal development and to prepare them to make informed life decisions, so using the well known monomyth (the Hero's Journey) in the youthwork seemed to be a great tool to use. After all the Hero's Joruney is the most common trope used in films, stories, music etc In narratology and comparative mythology, the hero's journey, or the monomyth, is the common template of stories that involve a hero who goes on an adventure, is victorious in a decisive crisis, and comes home changed or transformed.

Therefore this is what we want to use in 12 days long training course.
