Main Idea:
This training equips youth workers and peer educators with the skills to use theatre as a powerful non-formal education tool. It combines artistic expression with peer education to foster dialogue, critical reflection, and social change. The training is grounded in the concept of theatre in education, which uses performance as a tool to influence knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours, specifically promoting young people’s sexual and reproductive health, preventing HIV, and reducing stigma and discrimination.

16 youth workers and peer educators who are over 18 years old. (fully funded by Erasmus+)
7 additional participants from the same countries or any other countries worldwide may participate in the training if they are self-funded or obtain financial support from other sources. For the self-funded participants only: a training fee of 560 EUR should be transferred to the IFYD account at least 1 week before the training starts. The fee includes full-board accommodation for six nights, training materials, and local transportation from Sofia to Belcin and back.
During the official training days, full-board accommodation will be provided, including meals, coffee breaks, and access to training facilities.
Rooms will be shared (two to three participants per room).
Expenses: Travel and full-board accommodation are covered by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union according to the limit for each country.
