Unity ART Colony

Training Course

1-7 July 2024 | KulturHaus, Germany

Join us on a transformative educational journey, experiencing the regenerative power of multidisciplinary art to advance communities in uncertain times.

Through engaging workshops spanning various art mediums such as watercolour painting, lino printing, shadow theatre, marionettes, digital art, and more, participants will explore diverse avenues of artistic expression. Drawing inspiration from nature's interconnectedness, we'll use bionic metaphors to foster narratives of peace and healing in our communities.

Our agenda fosters a supportive learning environment where collaboration, creation, reflection, and growth are encouraged. From creative sessions to individual reflections, each day is tailored to inspire exploration, creativity, critical discussions, sharing and personal development.

By the end of the training, participants will not only refine their artistic skills in public art show but also gain practical insights into hosting creative spaces for peace and reconciliation.

We are going to focus on the following objectives:
- Explore art Medium in promoting peace and reconciliation
- Draw Inspiration from nature through bionic metaphors
- Create collaborative artworks for a public showcase
- Foster a community of peer learning, vision sharing, and networking for future initiatives
- Explore quality guidelines for hosting creative processes in times of uncertainty

NaturKultur e.V. (Youth NGO)

NaturKultur e.V. is a youth association in Germany with over eleven years of experience in the field. Our biggest impact is done through activities that channel our values and beliefs through our multicultural and diverse team, which is transmitting that passion for creating and providing great learning experiences for young people in Germany and beyond. This includes local initiatives, local and international youth exchanges and training courses. As well as projects to share best practices, foster innovative approaches and build bridges between international organisations. Our values and beliefs shape how we approach our work, how we guide our decisions and behaviours in our everyday world. They are deeply embedded in all of us, and we gladly share them through young people and partners we work with on a daily basis. We are providing a platform for young people to make a positive impact and change the world while they are developing themselves. Special emphasis is put on including young people with fewer opportunities, such as young people with disabilities, those who live in rural areas, belong to different ethnic minorities, are refugees, or have learning difficulties. Furthermore, we are hosting four ESC volunteers and coordinating ten other ESC volunteers in Bremen, Germany. More information at: https://www.naturkultur.eu/en/about-us/
