Training for group leaders in Youth Exchanges with vulnerable and/or under-age (14-17 y.o.) participants

Our Training Course on Inclusion in Youth Mobility projects is part of Associazione Joint’s Erasmus+ Accreditation strategy, that aims at fully involving participants with fewer opportunities in youth mobility projects. Therefore, the aim is to train group leaders who will possibly be involved in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges hosted by Associazione Joint and by its network in 2023 and in the following years. All these Youth Exchanges will involve vulnerable and highly vulnerable participants (find here the description), and half or more of these Youth Exchanges will be for under-18 participants.
For this reason, in the selection process, we will give priority to youth workers who are part of organisations willing to be partners of Associazione Joint (as a sending or as a hosting organisation) in Youth Exchange projects also targeting young people with fewer opportunities.
The specific objectives of the Training Course are:
- Training group leaders about inclusion and about strategies to support and empower participants with fewer opportunities before, during and after a Youth Exchange experience.
- Co-designing the youth exchanges that will be hosted by Associazione Joint in 2023 and that will be focusing on Inclusion (they will involve 40% participants with fewer opportunities and highly vulnerable young people).
- Reaching agreements for mutual cooperation with organisations active in the field of youth mobility.

Costs
Participation fee
No participation fee is required.
Accommodation and food
Organisation costs will be covered by the Erasmus+ programme.
Travel reimbursement
Travel costs will be reimbursed in the framework of Erasmus+ distance bands, taking into account also the green travel option.
- 100-499km: 180€ (traditional travel), 210€ (green travel);
- 500-1999km: 275€ (traditional travel), 320€ (green travel);
- 2000+ km: 360€
Since it is not possible to reach the accommodation with public transport, we will need to organise a private transport. This cost will be covered with a deduction of 15€ on the travel budget.
E.G.: if your travel budget is 275€, please consider it as 260€.
