The Essential Media Workshop for Professional Educators Plus*

Training Course

29 November - 3 December 2013 | Ommen, Netherlands

4-day residential workshop for people who want to increase their personal competence in handling, using and exploiting digital media.
The workshop will raise participants’ awareness of the multitude of ways in which video can seamlessly be integrated into the learning environment, equipping them with basic skills to create and share their own educational video materials. The programme of the workshop is designed in a way so that a participant will: -> learn the basic technical skills for using video, sound and editing software, -> learn ways to handle equipment as a part of the learning curve, -> develop activities where video or photo are used as a communication tool, -> create a personal audiovisual product that embodies their learning outcome.

Established in 1966, the Olde Vechte Foundation has been nurturing and building its activities on traditionally religious values. Since the mid-1990s
it has opened its doors to people from all over the world. Today the foundation functions as an international training center for informal learning.
It has established a firm base in experiential learning programmes in the field of personal and professional development, coaching, employability, art, expression, media and youth work.
