Study Visit

28 September - 2 October 2026 | Casaleggio Boiro (AL), Italy

For ESC coordinators, mentors & group leaders with hands-on experience managing ESC volunteers. Observe safeguarding in a live ESC Team in Italy, exchange peer practices, network with ESC professionals from 5 countries and co-design the November TC.

S.A.F.E. Moves (Safeguarding, Awareness, Formation and Empowerment) is a KA153 Erasmus+ multi-activity project coordinated by Associazione PE.CO (Italy), running March 2026 – May 2027 with seven partner organisations across Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ukraine, Slovenia and Finland.

About the Study Visit

The Study Visit takes place at Cascina EUtopia, a rural educational community in Casaleggio Boiro (AL), Northern Italy — PE.CO's base for ESC Teams. During 3 activity days (+ travel days), participants will:

  • Observe safeguarding protocols applied in an ongoing ESC Team hosting highly vulnerable young people
  • Engage in peer exchange on good practices and recurring challenges
  • Co-design the priorities for the Training Course (12–20 November 2026, same venue)

Who is this call for?

We are looking for 2 additional participants from the following countries: Spain, Portugal, Ukraine, Slovenia, Finland (1 participant from Finland).
This call is strictly open to people with direct, operational responsibility for ESC field — specifically sending or hosting coordinators, mentors, group leaders or project managers actively involved in preparing volunteers, accompanying them and managing risks.
